Industrial gloves are usually used in industrial production in factories. Of course, industrial gloves are not only used when producing chemical products. One of the industrial gloves is called insulating gloves, which are made of special rubber with good insulation properties, and have sufficient insulation strength and good mechanical properties. But no matter what the material is, gloves will still deteriorate after a long time, so we need to use them correctly and pay attention to the maintenance and management of gloves. The following editor will introduce to you the use and maintenance skills of industrial insulating gloves!
1. Before use, you should choose 12KV or 5KV insulating gloves reasonably according to the working voltage range, and check whether they are within the validity period.
2. The surface should be checked to see if it is in good condition and whether there is wear, leakage, scratches, etc. on the surface. Do not use if the viscose is damaged or leaks. The inspection method of insulating gloves is to grasp both sides of the upper opening of the insulating gloves with both hands, and curl the gloves towards the fingers. When curled to a certain degree, the air inside will increase the pressure due to the reduced volume. If the fingers are puffed up, there will be no air leakage.
3. The cuffs of the outerwear with insulating gloves should be placed in the extended part of the gloves. Use insulating gloves and do not grab objects with sharp thorns on the surface to avoid damage. Insulated gloves should not be used for non-electrical work, nor should medical or chemical gloves be substituted for insulated gloves.
4. After use, the insulating gloves should be wiped clean inside and outside, and then sprinkle some talcum powder after drying to avoid adhesion.
5. Insulating gloves are not allowed to be placed in too cold, too hot, direct sunlight or acid-base drugs to prevent the aging of the colloid and reduce the insulation performance. Insulating gloves should be tested every 6 months.
